Employment Opportunity - Environmental Specialist

The Iroquois County Public Health Department (ICPHD) is looking for an Environmental Specialist. Amongst other duties, the Environmental Specialist will be responsible for conducting inspections at food establishments, private wells, and private sceptics. This candidate must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and is in good working condition to travel to inspection sites and to attend occasional regional trainings. Office location: 1001 East Grant Street, Watseka, Illinois.
Schedule: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
Experience: 1-3 years experience preferred. Willing to train the right candidate.
Salary: $34,000 to $39,000 annual salary.
